Tonight the Ballinger Bearcats travel to Big Lake to take on the Reagan County Owls. Through the non-district schedule things could not look more different for the two teams.

Ballinger has scored 91 points with 229 against posting a 2-4 record. The Owls meanwhile, have scored 279 points and given up 89 while boasting a perfect 6-0 record.

A passing glance at the game would seem to give Reagan County a runaway victory, but digging deeper gives some more insight. The Owls combined opponent record is 11-22, While the Bearcats opponents have a combined 18-13 record. Ballinger has getting punched in the mouth since Week 1 while Reagan County has coasted along. How the Bearcats go into the game mentally could go a long way to determining the outcome tonight as the Bearcats should not be shocked at what the Owls bring to the table.
