MADISON, Wis. — Capitol View Farmers' Market is set to have its opening day Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. located at 5901 Sharpsburg Dr. on Madison's East Side, near the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co.
The Farmers' Market will take place every Wednesday until October.
New this year, attendees can drop off food scraps for composting through Sustain Dane.
Idledaze will be performing live music from 4:30-6:30 P.M. for people to enjoy while they visit the different vendors. Vendors will offer various goods such as sourdough, cheese, popcorn, smoothies and even yarn therapy. Food Carts scheduled to attend include Cafe Costa Rica, Thailand in a Truck and The Roost.
The market offers something for everybody with different activities like creating origami with The Curious Crafter, yard toys and sidewalk chalk.
