Search is on for missing Sumter man with health condition

SUMTER, S.C. — Sumter Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing 53-year-old man.

Abdul Karim Djibril, of Sanders Drive in Sumter, was reported missing on Monday, May 25. He was last seen by an acquaintance on May 16. 

Djibril suffers from a health condition that could require medical treatment. He is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 180 lbs. A clothing description is not available.

If you see Djibril or know of his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Sumter Police Department, 803-436-2700, or the nearest law enforcement agency. Always dial 911 in an emergency.
