The residents of Fairfield are up in arms after a video surfaced showing an officer arresting a teen through punches, which has now been connected to another incident in the past where the same officer dragged a woman by the hair.
A video released last week showed Officer Bianca Brown arresting high school student Maurice Williams. During the arrest, it is evident that the officer pulled the teen’s hair. Although it was claimed to be a distraction strike, the family of the victim maintains that he was beaten up “like a dog.”
In light of the previous video that came into view, Myah Hamilton came forward and claimed she had been pulled along her hair by the same officer in a traffic stop incident some years ago.

According to the chief of Fairfield’s police force, the officer in question has been temporarily demoted pending further investigation.
“The officer has been administratively reassigned in the department as we navigate this emotional and challenging time,” he said.
