The National Mall will transform into a giant FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Zone starting next month, bringing together crowds of fans for a supersized soccer event co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
From June 11 to July 19, soccer fans will find live match watch parties, youth programming, cultural showcases and family-friendly fun on the National Mall, between 3rd and 4th streets. The fan festival will be free and open to the public of all ages.
All USA matches will be shown, along with dozens of other games. The fan fest will be open as late as 1 a.m. for the screenings. Here’s the full schedule.
It’s all happening as the United States celebrates the 250th anniversary of its independence.
"We are proud to bring the celebration of the world's game to the National Mall, and together, we are creating a global experience in the heart of the nation's capital that unites people from all backgrounds and connects this historic FIFA World Cup 2026 with America's 250th anniversary through football, culture, and community,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a statement.
The fan fest was announced Tuesday by Freedom 250, an organization backed by President Donald Trump that’s planning several events for the anniversary, including a grand prix and a UFC fight at the White House.
